LAGO is a Tampa water resources firm founded in 2013. Our leadership team brings more than 90 years of combined experience in hydrology, hydraulics, and numerical modeling, and works directly on client projects.

PRESIDENTMaria has more than 30 years of experience in research and engineering on hydrodynamics and multiphase flow. Her work covers water resources and environmental studies.

Marcelo E. Lago, PhD, CFM, PH
VICE PRESIDENTMarcelo has more than 30 years of experience. Before LAGO, he was a Senior Water Resources Scientist at DHI-US, where he supported and trained engineers on DHI’s modeling software and ran model calibrations and reviews.
His experience includes numerical modeling for water resources and environmental studies, GIS, programming, and project management.

CHIEF ENGINEERAnanta has more than 30 years of experience leading and supervising interdisciplinary hydrologic and hydraulic planning and modeling projects. He has coordinated capital projects from planning and design through construction.
He works with current methods and models for hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality simulation, and has developed routine and emergency operating schedules for drainage networks of canals and water control structures.
