This policy explains what information Lago Consulting & Services, LLC (“LAGO,” “we,” “us”) collects through lago-consulting.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
LAGO is a water resources engineering and modeling firm located at 4921 S Westshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33611. Our website address is lago-consulting.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact or quote request form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, organization, phone number, the service you are interested in, your project location, any deadline, and your message. If you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use this only in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure.
LAGO Toolbox downloads. You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to download the free version of the LAGO Toolbox. If you request pricing for additional tools, the tools you selected are added to our contact form, and the form information above applies.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and business, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- WordPress.com (Automattic) hosts our website and provides site statistics through Jetpack. Privacy policy: automattic.com/privacy
- Microsoft 365 handles our business email, including messages sent from our contact form.
- Google Maps is embedded on our Contact and About pages to show our office location. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
If your project requires a subconsultant or teaming partner, we share only the project details they need, and only with your knowledge. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Site statistics. Jetpack Stats, provided by WordPress.com, counts visits and page views. It does not tell us who you are.
- Embedded maps. The Google Maps embeds on our Contact and About pages may set cookies controlled by Google.
- Site administration. WordPress sets login cookies only for our staff when they sign in to manage the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although embedded maps may not display.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form messages and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you, to carry out any resulting work, and to meet our business, contractual, and legal record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete it or keep it only in our protected business records.
How we protect it
Our website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to messages and project records is limited to LAGO staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, unless we are required to keep it. To make a request, email support@lago-consulting.com or call 813-774-5559.
Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for businesses and public agencies. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, including government agency registries and project sponsors. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
